The 2017 Honda Pilot will give the whole family plenty of space
May 31 2017,
Thanks to the 2017 Honda Pilot, having enough room for the whole family and having fun behind the wheel while taking advantage of the latest in safety and connectivity technologies doesn’t require buying more than one vehicle. Capable of accommodating eight passengers and towing up to 5,000 pounds, the 2017 Honda Pilot has no shortage of arguments to stand out.
The 2017 Honda Pilot redefines affordable luxury
Available starting at $ 40,090 at Bruce Honda, the 2017 Pilot is available with amenities usually associated with luxury brands. These include a leather-wrapped heated steering wheel and a power tailgate.
The 2017 Honda Pilot is also an example of safety on the road with its Honda Sensing suite of active safety technologies. These include various driver assistance technologies that can detect of you are swerving from your lane and make the appropriate corrections, keep you at a safe distance from other vehicles when on the highway when cruise control is activated, and brake on its own if it detects an imminent collision ahead and no action is taken by the driver to avoid it. These features are therefore not only designed to warn you of an imminent danger, but they are also designed to help you avoid it and keep your family safe.
For 2017, the Honda Pilot is offered in five variants: LX, EX, EX-L Navi, EX-L RES and Touring.
Regardless of the version, the Pilot is equipped as standard with all-wheel drive and an infotainment system that is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
A powerful engine under the hood of the 2017 Honda Pilot
All variants of the 2017 Honda Pilot are powered by a 3.5-liter, six-cylinder engine developing 280 horsepower and 262 foot-pounds of torque. A six-speed automatic transmission is used to manage all of this power, except for the Touring version, which uses a nine-speed gearbox.
Despite its size, the 2017 Honda Pilot stands out with a low combined fuel consumption rating of 11.3 L/100 km. With the Touring variant, consumption is even more remarkable with an average of 11 L/100 km.
The Touring version is also equipped with 20-inch alloy wheels as well as an upgraded audio system. Rich leather seats, a navigation system, a range of additional active safety features, heated steering wheel, ventilated seats, rear heated seats and even more can be found in the 2017 Honda Pilot’s various trims.
